Hi! I’m Jen Montenegro. I’m Your Pinay VA at Sea. Well, that’s because I work at sea. So that makes me a sea woman… After a few contracts, I realized that despite the many wonderful things this big opportunity gives me, it also has some downsides – the biggest of which is being away from my family. To add to this is the nature of the job itself which is contractual. When the contract ends I’d usually find it hard looking for another job while waiting for my next assignment.
…Walang job security dito sa Singapore. Last year kasi ang dami kong friends na hindi na renew ang work pass and wala silang choice but to go back sa Philippines. Naisip ko paano kung mangyari yun sa akin, what will happen to me.
Isa akong OFW na nangangarap makauwi na. Ang pagiging VA ay isang malaking opportunity to bring me home for good in the Philippines.
